Lochnaw Castle

“Lochnaw Castle, former home of the Chieftains of Clan Agnew, the Herditary Sherrifs of Galloway, occupies a magical, lochside position amidst the rolling hills of the beautiful Rhins of Galloway in South West Scotland. Situated half way between the port of Stranraer and the very pretty harbour side village of Portpatrick, Lochnaw sits in a natural geoligical basin at the head of the steeply wooded Aldouran Glen (in Gaelic, Glen of the Otter).
